| Course Description: |
This course is designed for those studying law and those already practising law. Students should be familiar with their own country's legal system. Legal English vocabulary is introduced through the exploration of various legal topics. Participants are encouraged to develop their ability to speak through explanations and discussions of aspects of their own legal systems with their teacher as they compare and contrast with the English/American system. The course also aims to develop skills in reading legal texts and to activate and expand participants' legal vocabulary in addition to speaking and listening skills for reporting and presenting legal topics. |
